Who we are

VisionGreen Consultancy Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described here. We are registered in Ireland under company number 640248, at Office 5, Presentation Place, First Floor, 98 Tullow Street, Carlow, County Carlow, R93 A9T3.

What we collect

• What you send us. When you use the enquiry form or email us, we collect your name, company, email address, phone number if you give it, your rough annual energy spend, what you are asking about and anything else you write.
• Technical data. Our server keeps standard request logs, including IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and diagnostics.
• Client data. Where you engage us, we process energy and building data under the terms of that engagement rather than under this policy.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

• To answer your enquiry and provide our services. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract, or performance of a contract.
• To keep the website secure and working. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure service.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations. Legal basis: legal obligation.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision making or profiling.

Who we share it with

We use service providers to run the website, our email and our customer records. These act on our instructions under contract. We do not share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become work are kept for up to two years. Records relating to clients are kept for as long as the relationship lasts and then for the period required by Irish tax and company law, normally six years.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable form. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
