Energy management

Bottom line impact.

People, not just a dashboard

Every month someone at VisionGreen reads your data, finds what changed and tells you what to do about it. That is the difference between owning a meter and cutting a bill.

The cycle, every month

01

Watch

We review the measured data across your sites, so nobody on your side has to log in and interpret charts.

02

Flag

When a circuit moves, you hear about it. A rising draw on a fridge is a maintenance call, not a surprise on the bill.

03

Act

You get specific actions with the saving attached, in priority order. Not a dashboard and good luck.

04

Check

The next cycle verifies the change held. This is the part that stops savings decaying quietly.

Why savings decay

Most energy savings are not lost dramatically. A contractor puts a schedule to manual during a service visit and leaves it there. A setpoint is moved during a cold week and never moved back. A replacement unit is installed on default settings.

Six months after a successful project, a building can be most of the way back to where it started, and the only evidence is a bill that crept up.

Continuous measurement plus somebody reviewing it is the only thing we have found that stops this. That is the whole service.

Who it suits

  • Businesses running more than one site, where comparison is where the value is
  • Sites with heavy refrigeration, compressed air or process load
  • Businesses with no full-time energy manager and no plans to hire one
  • Anyone who has done an audit already and wants the findings to stick

Questions we get asked

What is the difference between monitoring and energy management?

Monitoring is the data. Energy management is somebody using it. VisionGreen reviews the readings, identifies what changed, and tells you what to switch, schedule or repair, then checks the following month that it held.

Do we need our own energy manager as well?

No. This service exists because most businesses cannot justify a full-time energy manager. You keep the decisions and the site knowledge. We do the analysis and bring you the actions.

How often do we hear from you?

Monthly reporting as standard, with alerts in between when a measured circuit crosses a threshold. The reporting cycle can be weekly or quarterly where that suits the business better.

Is there a savings guarantee?

Yes, and it is agreed per client rather than quoted as a single number, because it depends on the building and on what is already being done well.

Talk to whoever runs your buildings

Bring them to the call. The useful conversation is usually about the plant, not about the software.
